Software engineer at GoCardless for 3 years, building payment infrastructure across 6 countries. Led a migration of 100k+ accounts, built 41 bank integrations from scratch, maintained 100 more, and shipped across SEPA, ACH, Faster Payments and three other schemes.

Outside of GoCardless I founded Realm of The Lost Fool, an AR life-gamification game. Sole engineer, managed a UI/UX and game designer, built the full backend on Rails 8, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets and OpenAI GPT. Also a performing magician of 10+ years and co-founder of a tricks school with 40+ students.
